Darryl Weaver

Darryl Weaver was licensed in 2018 as Community Outreach Pastor after 14 years of ministering in the Sunnyside Community. The Lord laid the vision of TATH (Tuesday At The House) on Darryl’s heart in the spring of 2004. Each Tuesday, Darryl and his wife, Janice, lead a community gathering in the church fellowship hall beginning at 6:15 pm. There is always food, fellowship, and a safe place to explore friendship with each other and to experience God’s love in new ways. All are welcome.

Darryl and Janice have two adult sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. Darryl enjoys his family, spending time outdoors, mechanics, BBQ and smoking (meat that is). He finds food is a common ground that brings persons together that may not normally come together. Many great personal interactions have happened around a meal. 

Darryl believes we are called to love God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). By sharing God’s love through your actions and words is a powerful and meaningful way for persons we encounter each day to experience God in our world.
